SOLO PIANO ALBUMS

These compositions have been deeply influenced by my time spent quietly in the great outdoors. These solo piano pieces were written to create calm and inspiration by evoking the nourishing power of nature.

The songs are imbued with the atmosphere and harmony of natural landscapes. Like the sounds of the wilderness, they have an ebbing and flowing of emphasis. There is an intentional spaciousness which is not often found in instrumental piano music.

In restful reflection, we may derive great benefit from breathing with the slow pace of the countryside. Intimate feelings of self-realization may awakened by piano landscapes of peacefulness and softened resonance.

For continuity of feeling, these tracks were recorded live in one session on an older grand piano with a ringing bass section and bell-like high notes.
